Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I claim?
A. If you have had an accident in the last three years that wasn't your fault, or only partly your fault, then you may have a claim for compensation. This includes: an accident in a car, as a driver or passenger, slipping or tripping while out and about, an injury at work, or any other accident that caused injury. Even if you were partly to blame you can still win compensation.

Q. What does Liddingtons actually do?
A. We are genuine accident compensation specialists with a network of carefully-selected solicitors, medical professionals and other experts throughout the UK who work alongside us to fight your case and get you compensation.

Q. There must be a catch, how much will it cost me?
A. Liddingtons Solicitors only recommends solicitors who offer a genuine no win, no fee service - and we guarantee we won't take a penny of your money - whether you win or lose. Unlike many other companies, we will NOT send you a bill or take a percentage of your compensation. Nor do we make you sign a loan agreement or pay for insurance. You keep every penny of your compensation and you don't pay any of it to us.

Q. How do I go about making a claim?
A. It couldn't be simpler. Just ring 0800 000 0033 or complete our online claim form.

Q. What is a personal injury?
A. Any injury resulting in pain, suffering or loss of use that you have suffered, either physically or mentally, by the actions or negligence of someone else, including companies and organisations large and small.

Q. How much compensation will I receive?
A. The amount of compensation you can claim depends on the nature of your injuries and the length of time it takes for you to get better. You may also need to claim for expenses (such as lost earnings), which will be added to the amount you claim.

Q. How do Liddingtons Solicitors get paid for the work you do?
A. If you win compensation, the costs are paid by the other side responsible for your accident (the third party). You pay us nothing. If your case is unsuccessful, neither of us gets any money. So we have an extra reason to make sure that you win!

Q. What happens if I lose my case, will I have to pay anything?
A. Absolutely not. We take the risk of not being paid; no matter how much time we have all spent dealing with your case. We do not come back to you for any money.

Q. What happens if I win?
A. You keep 100% of your compensation and the losing side pays all your legal costs as well. This is unlike many others who deduct money automatically from your compensation if you win.
